It takes all of us to Bring Up Nebraska.
Bring Up Nebraska is not a program; it is a collective call to action with an open invitation to join the table.
We need everyone in Nebraska to make a unified commitment to strengthening families through prevention and creating services and support for parents to prevent child removal whenever possible. These efforts harbor great potential to keep families safely together.
The change we need must be supported collaboratively among legislative, judicial, health care, educational, business and other communities to work further upstream to help prevent the need for children and families ever to enter a governmental system.
Nebraska has made progress, but we need more people at the table – more elected officials, more businesses, more community members, and more representation from those communities who have been disproportionately impacted by state systems.
